Crew 50% · Book & Ladder 1/3 · COO
Tanya Muro
Crew 50%, COO. Named with Wettengel in KHCA and the Orange County clawbacks.
Loyola Marymount B.A. Closing coordinator at Direct Capital Securities 1999–2008; Nelson Brothers VP of investor relations from 2009, later CAO; Versity COO from 2018; Book & Ladder COO from 2020; Academy West COO from 2018. Co-founded Versity Invest with Blake Wettengel (Delaware formation 17 Mar 2022). Signed the 2 Apr 2022 BackOffice Services Agreement and IP license for Versity Invest; the Vintage Trust Agreement 12 Apr 2022 for Vintage IB as manager of Versity Invest; the Hayworth PMA 30 Jun 2022 on both sides; the One on 4th PMA 26 Jul 2022 for LeaseCo; and the Apex South Creek asset-management agreement 18 Nov 2022 on both sides.
KHCA and the OC clawbacks name her as a principal. Alleged (unproven) co-participant in the syndication-proceeds diversion, including Sunstone/Anaheim hotels.
Orange County judgment 22 Apr 2026 in 30-2025-01534910 confirms the 26 Nov 2025 JAMS Final Award: jointly and severally liable with Crew and Wettengel for $14,550,000 plus $166,834 JAMS fees. The award finds her and Wettengel collectively 35% of Versity Investments, 33% of Book & Ladder, and no ownership of NBPRE. Wettengel’s mediation-motion declaration, as quoted in the DST opposition, listed her at 14% Class A / 15% Class B — that is his declaration, not the award.
Named defendant in OC 30-2026-01543537 (filed 29 Jan 2026). PPM excerpts in the 10 Jul 2026 opposition name her Chief Administrative and Operations Officer of Nelson Brothers (CP Cincy) and of NB Private Capital (345 Flats, Tailor Lofts). Allegations.
Also named in 30-2025-01535878 (filed 24 Dec 2025). That complaint alleges she was Versity I’s COO, formed Crew while still an officer, and with Wettengel withheld Factory Class B investor funds after an arbitrator order. It recites her as NBPRE administrative staff, then senior management, before 2018. Melzer denied the motion to compel mediation on 23 Jul 2026. Allegations.
Personal site still live. Crew PR contact on the rebrand release.
